營新醫院和柳營奇美醫院攜手合作，雙方訂定醫療支援門診計畫，7月份起柳營奇美醫院醫師將於營新醫院開設支援門診，強化專科和急慢性照護服務，協力區域醫療。
這次兩家醫院醫療合作，主要是提供門診醫療支援，將由柳營奇美醫院協助專科醫療資源，於營新醫院增開心臟內科、胃腸肝膽科、泌尿外科、骨科等門診，每週提供八個診次，透過醫療支援合作，讓在地民眾獲得更便利的醫療照護服務，共同為溪北區域醫療品質而努力。
柳營奇美醫院院長黃順賢表示，依據健保署規劃，民眾若有就醫需求，可先就近至地區性醫療機構接受醫療照護，再依醫師專業建議，由醫院提供急、重症的照護，讓病人獲得迅速妥善的治療，避免不必要的醫療花費與就醫時間。
他還說，落實醫療資源妥適運用，平時兩院際間即在呼吸照護病房RCW、腦中風急性後期PAC病人醫療銜接照護、檢查轉檢業務、建教合作等項目，有緊密的互動連結，共同實踐以病人為中心的醫療價值。
營新醫院院長鄭群亮指出，感謝奇美醫院邱仲慶院長和柳營奇美醫院黃順賢院長對這次醫療合作的重視，這次醫療合作，借重奇美體系強化這院部分醫療科別，透過密切有效的分工合作方式，為民眾提供最適切、無縫接軌的醫療照護。
